Basic Wood Bookcases
Furniture in the Raw Basic Bookcases are, as the name suggests, basic wooden bookcases. We build and deliver anywhere in the USA.
You can use them almost anywhere; garages, living rooms, study, office or kid’s playroom. They are made from real wood by Furniture in the Raw in Texas.
Real wood has a strength that stands the test of time. Particle board (also called MDF) is covered in a laminate (plastic that has a wood look). If any part of the laminate or veneer peels away, the exposed particle board will crumble. Moisture expands particle board, which is not repairable.
We have an all wood bookcase for any space in your home or office. Choose from five different widths and and seven different heights. We will make any size, however. You have five choices to make to design your wooden bookcase:
- Heights (30″, 36″, 48″, 60″ 72″, 84″, 96″)
- Widths: (24: 30″, 36″, 42″, 48″)
- 48″ wide bookshelf has a vertical center divider with adjustable shelves on both sides
- Wood: Oak and maple (pine is also available)
- Finish: Choose paint and stain finish or unfinished
These wooden bookcases are perfect for either home or office. They are basic with clean lines. Trim them for a custom project or contact us for any custom project including height, width, and depth options for your needs.
The FITR Basic Bookcases are also a great as a kids bookshelf too. The 24 inch wide bookcase is a narrow bookcase and can be used in tight spaces or as an accent piece.
They come unfinished and are ready for you to pick your choice of paint or stain.
