The FITR “Furniture in the Raw” Step Back Bookcase Base and Hutch options is Texas Made. We have 3 widths, 3 wood choices and a few of our favorite finishes available here.
This base cabinet includes 2 raised panel inset doors. This is such a well made, real wood option that has many uses including bathroom storage, kids room, laundry room and more. We include an adjustable shelf behind the doors.
The hutch top has a fixed shelf at 15″ and includes 2 adjustable shelves.
You can pick it up at our warehouse in Austin or we are happy to ship anywhere in the USA and Internationally. USA shipping calculates in the cart. This ships assembled, just needs to attach the hutch to the base.

Real wood, not fake wood
Real wood has a strength that stands the test of time.
Many competitor bookcases use particle board (also called MDF) that is covered in a laminate (plastic that has a wood look). If any part of the laminate or veneer peels away, the exposed particle board will crumble. The moisture expands the particle board and is not repairable.
Furniture in the Raw uses solid wood and real wood plywood in all its bookcases. We never use inferior particle board.
Included with your base and hutch are brackets to connect the 2 pieces together for safety.
