The bookshelf comes unfinished or you can choose from a selection beautiful Amish stains or paint finishes. The finishes feel like silk! The Amish use the most chemically resistant finish, called conversion varnish. This finish will hold up to your toughest spills including acetone and alcohol. The bookcases arrive completely assembled and are solid wood, including the shelves. The doors open utilizing soft close hinges making this a solid investment that will last a lifetime.
