Sheesham is in the rosewood family. Grown from a deciduous tree, it’s classified as a hardwood. Known to be highly resistant to wood boring insects, it’s also decay-resistant in nature. It’s known for its density and durability for making home furnishings requiring little to no maintenance. Home Trends and designs only uses Sheesham wood from Certified forests.

Real wood, not fake wood
Real wood has a strength that stands the test of time.
We proudly use real wood unlike our competitors who use particle board (also called MDF) that is covered in a laminate (plastic that has a wood look). If any part of the laminate or veneer peels away, the exposed particle board will crumble. The moisture expands the particle board and is not repairable.
