John Thomas Siena Pedestal Dining Table

The John Thomas Siena Pedestal 48″ Dining Table is a traditional round table top with a more contemporary base. The table top is a roomy 48 inches wide.

This all wood table can seat six people comfortably for dinner. The pedestal is 30 inches high and features a curved wood design with a small foot print, leaving more unobstructed foot space for guests.

Real wood, not fake wood

Real wood has a strength that stands the test of time.

We proudly use real wood unlike our competitors who use particle board (also called MDF) that is covered in a laminate (plastic that has a wood look). If any part of the laminate or veneer peels away, the exposed particle board will crumble. The moisture expands the particle board and is not repairable.

Furniture in the Raw represents real wood, built to last.

Parawood grows on Malaysian plantations where it’s primary use is latex production.  The beauty and hardness for furniture was discovered to be the perfect source for this tree that was previously burned.  

This “Eco Friendly” tree is harvested for furniture after the latex yields become low, in about 25 to 30 years.  The parawood tree is a renewable option and a smart, affordable choice.
