The headboard has slats and the footboard has 2 storage drawers.  Enjoy self closing drawer glides on the 2 drawers at the foot of this bed.  French dove tail drawers also are standard on this amazing quality furniture. The 9 step finish will last a lifetime.  

The matching furniture features full extension drawers whisper quiet self closing glides and elegant English dovetail construction on both the front and back of the drawer.The Artisan & Post brand is made in the USA for over 100 years.

Real wood, not fake wood like most furniture sold today

Real wood has a strength that stands the test of time.

Many competitor products use particle board (also called MDF) that is covered in a laminate (plastic that has a wood look). If any part of the laminate or veneer peels away, the exposed particle board will crumble. The moisture expands the particle board and is not repairable. 

Furniture in the Raw only represents real wood all its products. We never use inferior particle board or represent a company that uses it.  Artisan & Post uses only solid wood.
