These storage beds have a Shaker design and are made with true American craftsmanship and solid wood. All drawers feature whisper quiet full extension drawer glides and English dovetail construction.
This storage bed comes in Amish paint or stain finishes or unfinished solid Alder wood. Â The Amish use the most chemically resistant stains making the finishes last for generations.Â
This bed features six drawers on one side, 3 deep drawers on the other. Please ask about additional configurations including blank pedestal designs, when the bed must be against a wall. Enjoy solid wood drawers that open using full extension, whisper quiet glides. Every attention to detail!

Real wood, not fake wood
Real wood has a strength that stands the test of time.
Many competitor products use particle board (also called MDF) that is covered in a laminate (plastic that has a wood look). If any part of the laminate or veneer peels away, the exposed particle board will crumble. The moisture expands the particle board and is not repairable.
Furniture in the Raw only represents solid wood and real wood plywood in all its products. We never use inferior particle board.

Again, I am surprised these guys do not have a lot of reviews – I just left them a review on google so here it is again. My family and I have been buying furniture from these guys for the past 5 years from desks, beds, and dressers you name it. We have bought it unfinished and finished though as I said before I recommend letting them take care of it and painting or staining it. It always looks great and at a great price. Especially since you are getting real solid wood not cheap fake wood as most furniture is made of now. Definitely recommend!
